Európa több nagyváro­sában nem állítanak karácsonyfát vagy betlehemest. Nincs már politikai szándék. Kínos a multikulturális társadalomnak. A keresztyén gyökerektől való elszakadást gyorsítja fel a járvány hatása. A társadalmi események újra és újra megfosztják karácsonyi hitünket a sallangtól, a műfénytől és a műfenyőtől, az új egészségügyi és társadalmi helyzetben arra kényszerülünk, hogy újraértelmezzük az ünnepünket, tartalmat keressünk akkor, amikor a formáktól megfosztanak bennünket.
