Beethoven nyitánya Goethe <em>Egmont</em> című színdarabjához íródott, témája forradalmi, s habár 1810-ben született, valahányszor hallgatom, óhatatlanul az 1956-os magyar forradalom pillanatképei villannak fel előttem, amelyben a tettrekész, önfeláldozó kamaszok és a megszámlálhatatlan „kortalan” felnőttek, egyemberként szálltak szembe a sztálinista terror és a szovjet megszállás ellen. 1956 október 26-án, egy mobil rádiós kocsiról, a meglévő szerény készletből, Beethoven <em>Egmont </em>nyitányának hangjai árasztották el Budapest utcáit. A mű azóta is elválaszthatatlanul hozzánőtt a forradalom emlékéhez. Így történhetett, hogy ezen az estén is, Beethoven <em>Egmont</em>jának érzelmi kontrasztjai, hősies-drámai és csendes-lírai pillanatai, gondolataimat újból visszaterelték az 56-os történésekre.</span><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Beethoven <em>3. c-moll zongoraverseny</em>ét (Op. 37.) a nemzetközileg ismert és elismert Eduard Kunz tolmácsolta. Előadásának pozitívumaként, a drámai erőt és a lírai finomságot, a „mesélőkedvet” és a dinamikai árnyalatok sokszínűségét, a zenekarral folytatott míves párbeszédeket és a hangulati kontrasztokat említeném. A versenymű lassú tétele a kedvencem, talán éppen azért, mivel itt nem a forradalmár, dühöngő, „vihart is megfenyegető” Beethoven hangja szól, hanem egy befele forduló, érzékeny lélek tárulkozik ki a hallgató előtt. A lassú tételben, Eduard Kunz a selymes színekben játszó érzelmes-lírai oldalát mutatta meg, míg az utolsó tételt virtuozitása uralta. Valami mégsem volt számomra tökéletes. Zavart ugyanis az a tény, hogy a versenyművet partitúrából játszotta, s így minden egyes kapkodó kottalapozása megszakította a mű élvezetét. Meglehet, a zongoraművészt úgyszintén zavarta valami – talán a legpianissimóbb pillanatokat megsemmisítő köhögések és prüszkölések –, hiszen a szokványos szünetbéli gratulációkat meg se várva, észrevétlenül távozott.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Dmitrij Sosztakovics (1906–1975) zenei síkon önmagát Muszorgszij utódának tekintette, akivel lelki rokonságot mutatott, és „emberi szinten is hozzá kötődött, alkalmilag megjátszva a »hülyét« (ahogy Muszorgszijt még a legjobb barátai is nevezték).” – olvasható Szolomon Volkov írásában. Igen, mert jurogyivijként nem kellett felelősséget vállalnia minden kimondott szóért, a partitúra minden egyes hangjáért. Művészete lelki vívódás, küzdelem, jajkiáltás volt a sztálini diktatúra ellen, amelyben az író megtanította olvasóit, hogy a sorok között olvasson, a zeneszerző pedig zenei „álruhát” öltve, a kottafejekben rejtette el valódi gondolatait, érzelmeit. Innen az <em>V. d-moll szimfónia </em>(Op. 47.) bizarr, groteszk elemekkel és fanyar humorral teletűzdelt lesújtó drámaisága. Valójában Sosztakovics <em>V. Szimfóniá</em>ja elgondolkodtató, csodálatos mű, amelyben a társadalmi kegyetlenségek és kiszolgáltatottság ellen, egyedi módon küzdő művész portréja rajzolódik ki, aki minden megpróbáltatás ellenére, megtalálja hitét az emberiségben. Ezért van a szimfónia fináléjának, az előző tételek tragikus hangvételét oldó, optimistán örömteli kicsengése.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Drámai és lírai pillanatokban gazdag, tartalmas este volt.
