Bár az idei év végig a Németország elleni terrortámadásokról és az Angela Merkel Willkommenskultur politikájának európai szintű kritikájáról szólt és egy nagyobb német terrortámadás szinte borítékolható volt, a berlini tragédia mégis sokként hat a németek és az európaiak körében. A feltételezhetően tunéziai származású, 23 éves borzolt hajú elkövető egy hősiesen harcoló lengyel sofőr életét kioltva, egy fekete kamionnal hajtott bele a németek mitológiájának legszentebb szimbólumába, a keresztény Európa egyik központi jelképrendszerébe, a karácsonyi vásárba. Abszurdumként, a támadás a német történelem tragédiáinak egyik emblematikus épülete előtt, a Kaiser Wilhelm emléktemplomnál a Budapest utcán történt. A tragédiát kezelő elhárítás és titkosszolgálat láthatóan megrémült és szétszórtan viselkedik. Órákon át semmilyen információt nem adtak ki az eseményről, a német sajtó sokáig hallogatta az esemény terrortámadásnak történt minősítését és a később elkapott feltételezett elkövetőről kiderült: semmi köze nem volt a támadáshoz. A jelenleg gyanúsított és a támadást magukra vállaló ún. Iszlám Állammal szoros kapcsolatokat ápoló tunéziai Amri Anis ott volt az Egyesült Államok tiltólistáján is, mégsem tudták követni megfelelően németországi tevékenységét. A nagyközönség előtt fejetlenségként értelmezhető jelenségek teljes ellentétben állnak azzal a német mítosszal, amely a precizitásukról és biztonságos társadalmukról híres Németországról terjedt el Európa szerte. Az esemény ugyanakkor nemcsak ezt a mítoszt rengette meg gyökereiben, de a nemrég még 55%-os népszerűségi index-szel rendelkező Angela Merkel jövő évi esélyeit is. A kedd este tartott gyászmisén a kancellárasszony meggyötört, szomorú és gondterhelt arca egy olyan Németországot szimbolizált, amely lelkes és minden európai kritika ellenére következetesen makacs Willkommenskultur politikáját végérvényesen újra kell majd gondolnia. A német sajtó, vezető kormánypárti politikusok és egyházi vezetők, így Markus Dröge evangélikus püspök is arra int, hogy nem szabad a félelem és a terroristák céljának csapdájába esnünk. A józanabb német sajtó – ellentétben a bulvárhíreiről és a sárga újságírásáról híres Bilddel – óvakodik a menekültkérdést és Angela Merkel politikájának kritikáját összemosni a hétfői terrortámadással. Ennek ellenére, a kancellár Facebook oldalát elöntötték az átlagnémet lakosok heves kritikái, amelyek egyértelműen a nyitottságáról és a liberalizmus védelmezőjeként ismert politikust vonják felelősségre és követelik lemondását. Ahhoz, hogy megértsük a berlini terrortámadás német társadalomra gyakorolt hatását, meg kell értenünk a németeket először.</span><p><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Aki élt már hosszabb, rövidebb ideig Németországban, tudja, hogy a német társadalom és gépezet minden szinten úgy működik jól, ha „a rendszer”, a jól begyakorolt, tökéletesen kigondolt és aprólékosan eltervezett mechanizmusok biztonságban és konzekvensen tudnak haladni. Ez stabilitást igényel és teljesen kizárja a spontaneitás, a kiszámíthatatlan események, a zagyva, meggondolatlan döntések lehetőségét. Ezért zavarodik meg a német turista a kaotikusságáról híres olasz városokban, ezért nem kedvelik a koszos balkáni városokat, ezért nehéz spontán kocsmázásokat kezdeményezni egy-egy hétköznapi estén egy német kisvárosban. Így működnek ők, ilyen a megszokott rend és fegyelem országa és mitagadás, ez teszi Németországot ma Európa vezető gazdasági nagyhatalmává. Ez a mentalitás és rendszer tökéletes is lenne, ha egy tökéletes, nyugodt, harmonikus világban élnénk. Sajnálatos módon azonban Németország nem egy tökéletes világban lebeg, hanem egy háborútól tépázott, vallási fanatikusokkal és gyűlölködéssel teli, egyre nacionalistább, egyre inkább a félelemre építő társadalmak, populisták és terroristák kereszttüzében. Ilyen körülmények között elkerülhetetlen, hogy spontán, gyors, kezelhetetlen helyezetek és krízisek, mint amilyen egy terrortámadás is, megzavarja a német Sicherheitra épülő rendszert. Ez okozza leginkább a terrortámadás legnehezebben feldolgozható traumáját, hisz a gyászon és tragédián túl egy tökéletesnek hitt rendszer alapvető hibáira mutat rá, amely hosszú távon jóval súlyosabb következményekkel riogathatják a németeket.</span></p><p><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A német, különösen nyugatnémet fiatalok körében Angela Merkel Willkommenskultúr politikája továbbra is töretlenül népszerű és sziklaszilárd támogatást élvez. Ezt karolja fel most, a legnehezebb helyzetben számos politikus és egyházi vezető is, ellensúlyozva a populista AfD félelemkeltését és opportunista szólamait. Remélhetőleg, egy ilyen tragédia ébresztő hatású lesz nemcsak a politikáját újragondolni készülő Angela Merkel, de a Sicherheit-mentalitásukba görcsösen ragaszkodó német társadalom számára is. Ha ezt sikerrel tudják majd feldolgozni és a tragédiát a javukra fordítani, akkor valóban olyan Németországot tudnak létrehozni, amely modellje lehetne úgy a Kelet-európai, mint a nyugati társadalmaknak.</span></p><p> </p></p>\n"
