<html><body><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mindent tönkretett a TikTok, a fókuszálási képességünket, az olvasást, az önképünket, de még a zenét is. A TikTok nyilvánvalóan minden rossznak a forrása, soha semmi jó nem származott és nem is származhat belőle. Egy félperces videó soha nem edukatív és nem közölhet információt, sőt elmennék egészen odáig, hogy TikTokon csak konvencionálisan vonzó lányok tátognak és táncikálnak. Mondanom sem kell, hogy soha nem fedeztem fel a TikToknak köszönhetően új zenéket vagy zenekarokat. Viccet félretéve, a TikTok nem olyan borzasztó, mint amilyennek első látásra tűnhet, de nem tagadom a negatív hatásait, a következőkben főleg azt fogom boncolgatni, hogy ez az alkalmazás milyen hatással volt a popzenére. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Egyre több olyan zene jelenik meg, ahol fél percre van téve a hangsúly, amire tánckoreográfiákat kitalálni lehet majd és tátogni. Ilyen volt Drake Toosie </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Slide</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> című száma, egyetlenegy megjegyezhető sora van. Ez annyira elterjedt, hogy már egyre több kiadó támogatja, hogy a videóklipekben is szerepeljenek rövid és könnyen megjegyezhető, TikTokra targetált táncmozdulatok. Ez azt eredményezte a popzenében, hogy one-hit wonderek jelentek meg, majd tűntek el a süllyesztőben egymás után, nagyon gyorsan. De ez a tendencia átalakulófélben van. A múlt héten a TikTok nem tudott megegyezni a Universal Music Group (UMG) licencjogainak megújításáról, ami ahhoz vezetett, hogy az UMG könyvtárából több ezer, esetleg több millió dal hirtelen lekerült a platformról. Ez nem könnyű döntés, tekintve, hogy a TikTok mennyire elválaszthatatlan és befolyásos lett a globális zenei kultúrában. Azzal, hogy az UMG elsétál a zenei felfedezés egyik legnagyobb globális platformjától, nyilván a TikTokot próbálja sarokba szorítani és arra kényszeríteni, hogy jobb ajánlatot tegyen.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sophie Ellis-Bextor 2001-es </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Murder on the Dancefloor</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> című slágere trenddé vált, miután a </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Saltburn</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> című filmben szerepelt – ennek eredményeképpen a TikTok-felhasználók, köztük maga Ellis-Bextor is, a filmet utánozva drámai táncot lejtettek otthonukban. A film és a trend hatására a dal 2024. január 12–18. között a brit kislemezlistán a második helyen végzett, és Ellis-Bextor első dala lett, amely valaha is felkerült az amerikai Billboard Hot 100-as listájára. Mivel azonban a dal az UMG alatt működő Polydor Records kiadó tulajdonában van, a számból már nem lehet új feldolgozásokat készíteni. Bár sok meglévő videót még meg lehet tekinteni, már nem lehet (legalábbis hivatalosan) csatlakozni a trendhez.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mit jelenthet ez a popzenére nézve? Ha rosszindulatú akarok lenni, akkor azt mondom, hogy végre majd muszáj lesz jó vagy jobb zenéket gyártani, amikből nem csak fél perc értékelhető, de szerencsére én vagyok a két lábon járó jóindulat. A popzene mindig is a tömeget akarta megszólítani, régen rádiókompatibilis zenéket próbáltak készíteni, most pedig más médiumnak próbál megfelelni a popzene.</span></p></body></html>\n
