Az elkövetők sok esetben nem kapnak méltó büntetést. Megkeresésemre Kapin Richárd, a szervezet vezetője árult el részleteket tevékenységükről és\n terveikről.</a></h2>\t\t\n \t\t<p>– Mi a legnagyobb hibája a jelenlegi magyarországi állatvédelmi törvénynek?<br>– A törvényeink teljesen jók, a legnagyobb probléma az, hogy a bírók nem alkalmazzák őket olyankor, amikor valakit tényleges börtönbüntetésre kellene ítélni. (A hatályos büntetőjogi szabály szerint két évig terjedő szabadságvesztéssel büntethetik azt a személyt, aki indokolatlanul és szándékosan maradandó egészségkárosodást vagy pusztulást okoz gerinces állatnak. Minősített bűncselekmény esetén akár három év letöltendő is járhat a tettesnek. Ennek ellenére a bűnösök az esetek túlnyomó többségében csak felfüggesztettet kapnak – szerk. megj.)<br>– Látnak-e reális esélyt a kö­zeljövőben bármiféle változásra?<br>– A közeljövőben sajnos nem, a távolabbiban talán. Reméljük, hogy olyan bírók és ügyészek kerülnek majd ki az egyetemekről, akik ezen változtatni tudnak.<br>– Az elmúlt években jelentősen nőtt a követőtáboruk. Feltételezem, hogy ennek következtében egyre több esethez hívják önöket. Hány mentésük van egy átlagos héten?<br>– A Facebook-oldalunkat már közel 123 ezer ember követi, de mindegyik alcsoportunknak van már külön oldala. Országos szinten majdnem minden napra jut egy mentés. Rendszeresen találunk olyan állatokat, akiket el kell hoznunk gazdájuktól, mert nagyon rossz körülmények között tartják őket. Én azokat az eseteket is a mentések közé sorolnám, amikor menhelyeknek viszünk adományt. Ezzel ugyanúgy segíteni tudunk az állatoknak, mint amikor megszabadítjuk őket a lánctól.<br>– Gyakran találkoznak olyan eljárási hibával, mint amelyet a Laura nevű komondor ügyében követett el a rendőrség? (Nem az állatkínzókat, hanem a Szurkolókat vették őrizetbe, később elismerték hibájukat, de az állatorvosi szakvélemény alapján végül vissza kellett adni a bántalmazott állatot „gazdájának” – szerk. megj.)<br>– Ehhez hasonló esettel ritkán találkozunk, talán ez volt az első vagy a második kellemetlen atrocitásunk a<br>rendőrséggel.<br>– Legtöbb posztjukban kutyák mentéséről számolnak be, rajtuk kívül milyen állatfajokhoz szokták hívni önöket?<br>– Gyakran riasztanak minket macskákkal, lovakkal vagy éppen tehenekkel kapcsolatos esetekhez, de hívtak már ormányos medvéhez, szurikátához, tevéhez és alpakához is. Nemcsak szárazföldi állatokon, hanem madarakon, és egyéb szárnyas élőlényeken is segítünk, például denevéreken.<br>– Rendszeresen szerveznek adománygyűjtéseket, ahol elsősorban tápszereket és állattartáshoz szükséges különböző kellékeket fogadnak. Van egy webshopjuk is, ahol termékeiket árulják. Mire fordítják a bevételt?<br>– Az adományok majdnem száz százalékát visszafordítjuk az állatvédelemre. Közösségi oldalunkon nem szoktunk pénzt kérni követőinktől, úgyhogy az eladott termékekből tudjuk magunkat fenntartani.<br>– Sokan tudják önökről, hogy munkájukat civilek és hírességek is segítik. Hányan kezdték el az állatkínzás elleni küzdelmet és hányan vannak most?<br>– Az utóbbi években legalább húsz ismert ember csatlakozott hozzánk, legutóbb Kovács Antal borász. A hazai rapperek közül Curtis és Essemm is aktív csapattagnak számít. Nemrég a Tankcsapda ajánlott fel nekünk egy gitárt licitre, de beszélgettünk már a Hooligans együttes tagjaival is valamelyik rendezvényünkön. Gregor Bernadett, Kapócs Zsóka és Árpa Attila is segíti a munkánkat, de nem szeretném kihagyni a névsorból Dombóvári István és Musimbe Dennis humoristákat sem. Amikor elkezdtük ezt a mozgalmat, kb. 25-en lehettünk aktív tagok, ma már pedig 150-200-an vagyunk.<br>– Mi a legokosabb dolog, amit tehetünk, ha állatkínzást vagy erre utaló jeleket tapasztalunk környezetünkben?<br>– Soha nem szabad azt hinni, hogy a helyzetet egyedül, a rendőrség bevonása nélkül is meg tudjuk oldani, mert lehet, hogy a probléma sokkal komolyabb, mint amilyennek elsőre tűnik. A hatóságoknak kell először szólni, ők pedig majd eldöntik, hogy mit fognak lépni.<br>– Milyen terveik vannak a következő évekre nézve?<br>– Mindenféleképpen szeretnénk menhelyet és saját állatorvosi rendelőt nyitni, felszámoltatni bűnszervezeteket, például a szaporítókat és a kutyaviadalosokat. Nyomást akarunk gyakorolni azokra az állatorvosokra, akik pénzért eladják a saját lelküket és persze a bíróságra is, hogy járjon végre letöltendő börtönbüntetés az állatkínzásért. Ha ez sikerül, a bűnösök már nem fogják azt hinni, hogy a bírók megszabadítják őket a börtöntől és csak felfüggesztettet kapnak.</p>\t\t\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width="960"
