Nagytata ilyenkor csitító szemekkel ránk néz, s akkor igyekszünk újra normálisan viselkedni.</h3><p>Ezeket a köröket lefutjuk párszor, amíg el nem fogy a laskaleves, a töltött káposzta és a nagymama féle borzasztóan finom diós-mákos-rohátos kalács. Közben elmeséljük, hogyan jártuk körbe a fél falut hegedűvel, nagybőgővel, harmonikával az éjjel, hogy megénekeljünk néhány ismerőst a szomszédsággal.</p><p>De a legszebb emellett a készülődés. A tanakodás, hogy kinek mit vegyünk, a hazasietés, a nagytakarítás, a közös főzőcskézés. Jó, igazából a nővéremmel takarítunk, édesanya főz, édesapa pedig... hát neki is megvan a feladata, például ő állítja bele a karácsonyfát a tartóba, talán ez a legkeményebb, legtürelempróbálóbb munka. Ő is veszi meg a fát, mindig elviszi valamelyik leányát, és ilyenkor mienk a választás joga. Tavaly mind a kettőnket vitt, hazafelé engem ültetett a nyitott csomagtartóba, nehogy kiessen a fa, ami nem fért be másképp az autóba. Boldogan ültem ott, és integettem a falubelieknek, legalább volt fánk, és egyikünket sem pottyantottak ki útközben.</p><h4>Valami leírhatatlan ragaszkodás köt össze a fával, miattam nem lehet egészen addig levetkőztetni, amíg el nem kezdenek hullani a tűlevelei.</h4><p>Általában ezt a munkát olyankor végezték el, amikor iskolában voltam, így nem tudtam könyörögni még egy kicsi halasztást neki. Igazából csak nem akarom, hogy vége legyen az ünnepnek.</p><h3>Édesanya mindig ideges, hogy nem leszünk kész, és még idegesebb lesz, ha megkérdem: mivel? Különben is, még soha egyik évben sem következett be az a katasztrófa, hogy nem lettünk kész.</h3><p>Majd ha nagy leszek, és rájövök, hogy mivel, majd biztosan kisregényt írok róla, mert annyi gond látszik az arcán, és mert választ még midig nem kaptam, pedig évek óta érdeklődök, de ilyenkor csak szúrós nézések felelnek.</p><p>A faöltöztetés a kedvencem, ez a testvéremmel a mi reszortunk. Amikor még óvodás voltam, nagynénénk vitt el szánkózni, amíg meg nem jött otthon az angyal. Milyen jó is volt… De most bemegyek a hűvös nagyszobába és előkotorom a díszeket. Karácsonyillatuk van. Berakjuk a <em>Karácsonyi varázslatok</em> című rajzfilmválogatást, és elkezdődik a díszítés. Ez egy olyan folyamat, ami nagyon ritka, hogy nem végződik veszekedéssel. Főleg amikor kisebbek voltunk. Én lelkes voltam, a testvérem meg kamasz, és tökéletes fát akart, így el akart tiltani a díszektől, olyankor mindig sírtam,</p><h3>hát mégis milyen karácsonyfa az, amit egyedül öltöztetnek fel?</h3><p>Ő ezt élvezte, ez volt a karácsonyi ajándéka nekem, neki meg az, hogy élvezhette szomorúságom. Szerencsére (el ne szóljam magam) ezt már kinőtte. Már egyre kevesebb a vita, és egyre szebb az ünnep. Mert megbecsüljük azt, hogy együtt lehet a család, tavaly mindketten egyetemen voltunk évközben, úgy szotyogtunk haza az ünnepre. Ilyenkor megtelik minden jármű minden kicsi helye, hogy alig lehet elférni, s izgulni kell, hogy kapjunk jegyet.
