A szentegyházak belső terei lenyűgözik, csodálatra késztetik a szemlélőt, köszönet és hála ébred benne, hogy a romlás, a korhadás útját állták adakozó és szorgos kezek, hogy a magyar közösség ismét birtokába vehette ezeket az építészeti gyöngyszemeket, mint az összetartozás, a megmaradás, az istenfélelem jelképeit, szent helyeit. Látni itt finom művű kőboltívet és -faragást, igényesen restaurált, gótikus ablakokat, kazettákat, a katolikus kort idéző freskórészleteket, ódon, fehér falakat, újrafestett bútorzatot, zsindelyes tetőt. Valami, ami eddig oly egyedivé, otthonossá és szerethetővé tette az évszázados falakat. Nem kerültek vissza a varrottasok.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Leginkább azzal indokolják döntésüket az érintettek, hogy nem szabad eltakarni a festett kazettákat, kőfaragásokat, freskókat, hogy túlburjánzott a díszítőkedv, már igen sok az ilyen jellegű adomány. Eldönteni sem lehet, hogy kié kerüljön vissza, és kié nem, hiszen megosztja a közösséget, harag lesz belőle. A valkói templom átadását követően a Facebookon kibontakozó éles hangú vitának is részese lettem, hiszen nagy szívfájdalommal és értékeink iránti féltő aggodalommal vettem tudomásul a döntést: a falak üresen maradnak. Majd jöttek a kérdések: a kazettákat, a kőfaragást, a freskót hagyjuk teljes szépségében pompázni, de a fehér falfelületéken nem férne-e el az írásutáni, a vagdalásos vagy az akasztalatos kézimunka? Vajon nem a legkönnyebb döntés az ún. közös béke kedvéért egy kézimunkát sem visszatenni? Otthonainkból, iskoláinkból kiszorult a varrottas; ha már a templomban sincs helye, gyermekeink honnan ismerhetik meg?</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Azóta eltelt néhány hónap, de kérdéseim csak gyarapodnak, hiányérzetem egyre mélyebb. Ez késztetett arra, hogy kérdőívet állítsak össze <em>Közvéleménykutatás a kalotaszegi varrottasokkal kapcsolatosan</em> címmel<em>,</em> melyet elküldtem 30 kalotaszeginek, hogy megismerjem ilyen formában is mások véleményét a kérdésről, ne csak ismerőseim felháborodására alapozzam jelen írásomat, mert néhány kivételtől eltekintve, beszélgetőpartnereim a témával kapcsolatosan bizony csak a sajnálatnak, a nagyfokú csalódásnak adtak hangot.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;"><img alt="" src="/sites/default/files/oldfiles/templomxx.jpg"><strong>A magyarvalkói templom (reformatus.ro/Kiss Gábor)</strong></span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Három férfinek és 27 nőnek küldtem el a kérdőívet. Kérdéseimre 28 személy válaszolt névtelenül, akiknek ezúton is köszönöm, hogy idejüket nem sajnálva, vállalták véleményüket. Tudom, hogy a megkérdezettek kis száma miatt nem lehet releváns egy ilyen felmérés, mégis elgondolkodásra késztetheti a kedves olvasókat.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A kérdőív első kérdése a varrottasok megítélésére vonatkozott, hogy miként vélekednek annak szerepéről, sorsáról. A megkérdezetteknek jelölniük kellett a felsorolt kilenc állítás közül, melyikkel értenek egyet a leginkább.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A válaszadók 78,5 százaléka anyagi és szellemi értéknek tekinti a kalotaszegi varrottast; 71,4 százalékuk szerint nekünk, ma élőknek a feladatunk, hogy fennmaradjon nem csak a tárgyi örökség, hanem a kézimunka elkésztésének a tudása is. Figyelmet érdemel a harmadik legtöbb egyetértést szerzett állítás (50 százalék), miszerint a varrás megnyugtatja, lelkileg feltölti készítőjét, öröm a válaszadónak, ha befejezhet egy kézimunkát.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Érdekes következtetéseket lehet levonni a fenti számok alapján. A köztudatban egyre erőteljesebben él annak a gondolata, hogy a varrottas már nem divat, nem érték. Ezt cáfolják meg a fenti adatok, de a következők is, hiszen senki sem értett egyet azzal, hogy „<em>a varrottas már csak fölösleges kacat, nincs rá szükség”.</em> Egy-egy voksot kaptak „<em>a varrottasokat már nem érdemes varrni, mert nincs rá kereslet” </em>és az<em> „értékesnek tartom a varrottasokat, de nem teszem ki őket, majd megöröklik a gyermekeim” </em>kijelentések. Három válaszadó értékeli a varrottast, de szerintük nem fér meg a modern lakásban. Továbbá négy-négy személy helyeselte a következő két kijelentést: „<em>A varrottasokat már nem érdemes varrni, mert nem értékelik a fiatalok”, </em>és<em> „A varrottasok megőrzése, továbbadása ma már olyan intézmények feladata, mint pl. a Hagyományok Háza.”</em></span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A második kérdésre: „<em>Véleménye szerint van-e helye a kalotaszegi református templomokban a varrottasoknak?”</em> „igen” és „nem” választ adhattak a megkérdezettek. Meglepetéssel nyugtáztam, hogy kivétel nélkül mindenki igennel válaszolt.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A folytatásban arra kértem a válaszadókat, hogy „igen” válasz esetén, jelöljék a megadott nyolc pozitív tartalmú állítás közül azokat, amelyekkel a leginkább egyetértenek.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A legtöbb szavazatot (85,7 százalék) az „<em>évszázados hagyományt tisztelünk, ha kitesszük a varrottast a templomban” </em>állítás érdemelt; 67,8 százalék szerint a templomokban „<em>a turisták is megismerhetik a kalotaszegi varrottasokat, azok gazdag mintakincsét.” </em>A harmadik legtöbb (53,5 százalék) helyeslést a „<em>magyarságunk, összetartozásunk kifejezői a templomban elhelyezett népművészeti alkotások” </em>kijelentés szerezte. Ötven százalék szerint a templomi varrottasok „<em>emlékeztetnek egy személyre, családi vagy egyházi eseményre”</em>, valamint „<em>otthonosabbá, szebbé teszik a templomteret”</em>. „<em>A varrottas és a varrottasminták megőrzésének és továbbadásának egyik módja” </em>állítás 46,4 százalékot, a „<em>kiemelnek egy-egy igeverset a Bibliából, amit így mindig újraolvashatunk, jobban megjegyezhetünk”</em> gondolat 39,2 százalékot<em>, „a varrottas készítője vagy adományozója fontosabbnak érzi magát a templomban, ha látja ott az általa adományozott tárgyat” </em>megállapítás pedig 35,7 százalékot kapott<em>.</em></span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A kérdőív negyedik és egyben utolsó kérdésére: „<em>Ha nemmel válaszolt a második kérdésre, kérem indokolja meg néhány mondatban válaszát!” - </em>értelemszerűen senkinek sem kellett választ adnia.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;"><span style="font-family: nerisblack; font-size: 26px; line-height: 32px; margin-bottom: 26px; margin-top: 8px;"><strong>Helye van a templomtérben a varrottasnak</strong></span></span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">Látható tehát, hogy a megkérdezettek egyéni és közösségi életük szempontjából egyaránt igénylik a hímzések templomi jelenlétét. Szerintük helye van a templomtérben a varrottasnak. Nem elhanyagolandó szempont az sem, hogy nemzeti önazonosságunk kifejezéseként tekintenek a templomi textíliákra. Az ott őrzött tárgyak ugyanis többletfunkciót kapnak: az esztétikai élménynyújtáson, díszítésen kívül a történelmi múlthoz való kapcsolódás eszközei, de az egyéni vallásosság „kegytárgyai” is ezek a különleges darabok.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A templom „felöltöztetése” tehát nemcsak önös magamutogatásból fakadt, közösségi igény hozta létre és tartotta fent ezt a szokást évszázadokon át. Már Lorántffy Zsuzsannáról feljegyzik, hogy hímzéseket adományozott az egyháznak. A hagyomány évszázados múltját igazolja a kispetri református templomnak 1834-ben Bot Pálné Bálint Ilona által adományozott terítő is. Kónya Gyuláné teljes mintakészletet tervezett a református templomokban látható motívumok alapján, a textíliára vitt minták pedig száz éven át megfértek a magyarvalkói templomban.</span></p><p style="font-family:nerislight;color:#48484a;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;text-align:left;margin-bottom:19px;display:block;"><span style="color:#48484a;display:block;font-family:nerislight;font-size:16px;line-height:20px;margin-bottom:19px;text-align:left;">A megújult templomok visszanyerték ugyan szépségüket, sokáig eltakart ritkaságok kerültek felszínre, de a reformátusok közül sokak számára - a megkérdezetteknek mindenképp - értékvesztést jelent a varrottasok eltávolítása. A szóban forgó egyházközségekben felhalmozott textilkészlet tehát többszörös jelentéssel bír, eltávolítása megfontolandó, hosszútávú negatív következményekkel is járhat.
